Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1965.

Senior Sales Representative for Burroughs Ltd (now Unisys) handling all products from adding machines to electronic accounting machines in the pre personal computer era.

Conducted own Accountancy and Business Consultancy for 27 years.

Pioneered the introduction of a Windows based desk top payroll solution in 1990 (only DOS based accounting systems existed) – it took a further 5 years for the competitive market to change. Founded Comacc The Payroll People and grew the business to 50 staff with 8000 business customers in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Sold to MYOB in 2006.

Now recognise the need for a more accessible New Zealand owned and operated Web based Payroll solution that enables not only Businesses and Bureax ready access and convenience but also individual employees – available from any internet enabled PC anywhere in the World.

Asher Hastings

Recently returned from Asia. Asher is Impact Payroll's technical leader.

He has spent the past 10 years in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan in various capacities within the software development and consulting industries.

More recently Asher had started and grown his own Singapore based CRM software company into a leader within it's field. Working with clients such as Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, Singapore Airlines and TBWA/Tequila, Asher's company developed and managed some of the largest websites in the region.

He sold the company in 2006 and has joined Peter in establishing Impact Payroll.
